Graduate Advising: Academic Planning

A structured advising system is offered to advance personal, academic, and professional development goals while encouraging academic achievement and timely degree completion.  Academic advising sessions aim to explore the relationship between student goals and the personal, academic, and professional requirements for achieving those goals.

Graduate Program Directors:

A complete faculty advising system is in place for each master's degree and certificate program.  Faculty Program Directors provide advising on academic and career opportunities in various disciplines. Faculty also work directly with students interested in gaining field based experience through internships.

Graduate Student & Academic Services Advisers:

Graduate Student and Academic Services is responsible for assisting students in meeting academic and personal development goals as they relate to the graduate student experience.  A professionally trained staff advises students on degree requirements, curricular options, and academic policy and procedure.

MBA Concentration Advisers:

MBA students are also encouraged to discuss their concentration selections with the faculty member who serves as concentration adviser for their chosen concentration.
